"It's so pretty..."
If you find yourself frequently saying the above line when you're watching an anime or reading a manga, then you're probably a born glockette. That's right. So... what anime stuff
can you consider as being pretty? Well, [duh!] we all know what a bishounen [aka. a pretty boy] is. CLAMP, for example, has lots of them, such as Kamui from X/1999 and Subaru from X/1999 and Tokyo Babylon.
One of GLOCK's main missions is pretty much to look for this kind of pretty stuff. That's right. We like to watch bishounen "in action." Simple as that.
Phil Onii-sama, of course, has been really nice in providing us with pretty anime for us to watch during our GLOCK meetings. We watch those series that we think might
be a little bit "hard to swallow" by the rest of the club, such as those that have some shounen-ai elements in them. Last semester, for example, the glockettes watched Patarillo, Joker, and Ai No Kusabi, which
are some of the shounen-ai and yaoi classics. We would also watch classic shoujo series such as Oniisama E [also known as Brother Dear Brother] or some cute magical-girl shows such as Wedding Peach and Akazukin Cha Cha.
The GLOCK Tyrant and her minions have acquired some of the most interesting tapes these last couple of months. For the Fall semester of 2000, we will be watching [taking a deep breath]: Angel Sanctuary OVA 1, Shoujo Kakumei Utena musical show, Angelique, Earthian, subbed episodes of Gundam Wing [aka. Gundam Pretty Boys], series that are based on Kazuma Kodoka's works [Kizuna, Kusatta Kyoushi no Houteishiki, etc.], Boku No Sexual Harassment, Level C, Ai No Kusabi, and more! We would also continue watching Oniisama E, and Patarillo.
