On-Campus Resources

The Writing Center

The Writing Center offers a free writing tutorial service for Carolina students, which I highly recommend. Located in Phillips Annex, they can be reached to schedule an appointment at 962-7710 or visit their website.

The Learning Skills Center

Michel Foucault

The Learning Skills Center, also in Phillips Annex, counsels students facing difficulty with study skills that may be impairing their academic progress. They offer assistance for a wide range of academic issues and specific disciplines. To consult with an instructor, call 962-3782 or visit their website.

Academic Technology Network

A tremendously helpful resource, ATN provides information technology support to the entire university. They offer courses on most software programs, downloadable help documents, and an online help desk. For assistance, visit their walk-in service in Wilson Library, call 962-HELP, or go to help.unc.edu.
