		I would like to take this opportunity to thank my parents and family for providing me with the support and the foundation that was neccessary to get me here to UNC and also to keep me here in one of the best universities this state has to offer.
	My name is Amber Grandy and I was born at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital to Danny Lee Grandy Sr and Billie Jo Grandy. I have a little sister named Dorothy and a little brother Danny. We have a miniature dachshund named Biscuit. My boyfriend, pictured above, and my family have kept me going strong this first year towards my degree. I did this webpage as an English 12 assignment here at the University of North Carolina--Chapel Hill; however, I want to be a doctor and so, for me, this has been a great learning experience.
