| I was born on
February 28, 1985 in Los Angeles, California. I was the first child
of Robert and Marie Martinez. I have a younger brother who is a freshman
in highschool and a younger sister, a 6th grader in middle school. I
moved to North Carolina in fourth grade and lived in the small town of
Sanford until my graduation in 2003. I attended Lee County Senior
High School and was involved in many extracurricular activities. I was
president of International Club, vice president of the GO club and secretary
of Interact. I graduated from Lee Senior as a North Carolina Scholar,
Presidential Scholar, and Lee County volunteer of the Year. I am currently pursuing a B.S in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. I plan to fullfill my pre-medical requirements and attend either UCLA, Stanford or UNC medical school. |
