	I was born on May 10, 1985 in a small town of Hickory, North Carolina to Jeff and Tammy Shook.  I have a younger brother Terry who is currently a freshman in high school.  I attended Fred T. Foard High School in Newton, North Carolina.  In high school I was active in many activities.  I was Senior Class President, president of French Club and HOSA, captain of the softball team, and an active member of Beta Club.  I graduated with the NC Scholars Award and with the Honor Graduate Award.   I am currently attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I am majoring in nursing.  I plan to get my masters and become a nurse anesthesist.   I researched Parkinson's disease because I didn't know much about the disease and I wanted to get to know it better.   My hobbies include watching and playing sports, reading, exercising, and hanging out with friends.  I am always up for a challenge.  I am currently in a long term relationship.  I plan to get married right after graduation.     Please Email Questions and Comments to: Liz Shook
