Many implications are inherent in the decision to accept students at institutions like the University of North Carolina. In his presentation, Dr. Jerome Lucido discussed several of the intricacies around university enrollment management decisions and growth. Beyond the admissions qualifications of applicants, enrollment officers are involved in conversations around the quality of undergraduate education, curriculum sequencing and delivery, availability of faculty and physical space, and social policy and societal benefit. These are among the varied considerations of the enrollment office as they aim to both maintain and evolve the quality of a Carolina education. |
