Sarah Ficke

Sarah FickeI am in my second year of the Master’s program in English at UNC Chapel Hill.  As well as teaching English Composition, I am taking classes and just completed a thesis project about Jane Austen and Virginia Woolf.  During my career at UNC, I have worked as a Program Assistant for the William Blake Archive, which is a wonderful online edition of Blake’s writing and art. I am currently working as a Graduate Assistant for Documenting the American South: a vast online collection of primary sources published by the UNC library.

I am a regular contributor to the online magazine, Intrepid Media, and I have also published a short story, “Act of God” in their electronic book Let the Evolution Begin.  Aside from all things writing, I also enjoy music, and am a member of the Chapel Hill Community Chorus.
