Course Description and Objectives:
This is the first semester of a yearlong course in introductory russian. The first-year course focuses on vocabulary and basic grammer. In this class students will master the cyrillic alphabet and acquire the grammer necessary to discuss such topics as family, friends, activities, and interests. In addition, students will be exposed to many aspects of russian life and culture.
