Please Note:  This list is sorted by date of publishing (oldest first) and reflects the age and condition of the book itself and not necessarily when the book was written.  Look at the author's dates and/or the book's description to determine the time it was penned.  Some books are in an archival pac and are extremely delicate; treat these with great care if you want to read them.  Older books can also be viewed in the Rare Book Collection although they cannot be checked out.
