Credible or INcredible?

Ah, the Internet. It's one of the century's greatest developments -- making the world smaller, the information base larger and the busy signals

more frequent.

But don't be fooled by how easy it is to get information off the WEB. Everyone

can have access to it, which means anyone can upload anything they want to --

EVEN IF IT'S INCREDIBLE .

Unlike with most print media, such as
BOOKS
, magazines and journals,

there are no standards for approving Internet content before it is published. One of the most obvious ways this is seen is in e-mail hoaxes.

And just as with those, there are some
signs that can help you
determine

whether the information you're getting off

the Web should be trusted, or TRASHED.
