“Being a Public Service Scholar allowed me to find my niche at Carolina: incorporating service into what I was learning in the classroom and laying the foundation for a lifetime of public service.” ~ Kailey Ramsey, 2009 Public Service Scholar

Support the Carolina Center for Public Service

For more than 10 years, the Carolina Center for Public Service has enriched the student experience, bolstered faculty resources for service and engagement, and supported partnerships with communities throughout the state and far beyond. What a difference a decade makes!

Private giving has been instrumental in enabling the Center to develop innovative programs, including the Faculty Engaged Scholars Program and the Public Service Scholars (PSS) Program. Enrollment in PSS has grown to 1800 students as of fall 2009, and your support is needed to ensure that all Carolina students who want to serve are able to do so. Click here to read how to Support a Public Service Scholar Participant, or make a gift of any amount for PSS through the online giving form.

Gifts to the Center support students, staff and faculty across all schools and disciplines in their public service and engagement efforts, and help Carolina serve communities across the state and around the world. Your support of the Carolina Center for Public Service assures that the strong Carolina tradition of service will continue far into the future!
