Policies for Joining and Using the Blog
Although anyone may post comments to the Carolina Review blog, blogging is currently reserved for staff members and invited guests of Carolina Review. Before signing up to blog on the Carolina Review blog, please ensure that you meet these qualifications:1. A current student of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
2. A staff member/former staff member of Carolina Review
and/or:
3. An invited guest of Carolina Review.
Instructions for Current Staff Members
Current staff members only should follow these steps to join the blog:
1. Go to Blogger.com and set up a membership account. If you already have a Blogger.com account, this step is not necessary.
2. Send an e-mail to this e-mail adress and request to join the Carolina Review blog. Please put "CR Blog" in the subject line and be sure to include your full name, UNC e-mail address, and your Blogger.com account name.
3. You will get an e-mail from Carolina Review telling you that your request to join the blog has been received and is being processed.
4. A second e-mail, this time from Blogger.com, will ask you to join the Carolina Review blog. Copy and paste the link included in the e-mail into your address bar in your internet browser. Blogger.com will then take you through the steps of joining the Carolina Review blog.
Please note: If you click the link in the Blogger e-mail (in step 4) the registration process will fail. Be sure to copy and paste it into your browser.
Instructions for Invited Guests
Invited guests will receive registration information when they are invited. Please contact cr@unc.edu for more information.
Instructions for Non-Staff Members
Carolina Review currently does grant blogging privileges to non-staff members. Special exemptions are possible on a case-by-case basis. Please contact cr@unc.edu for more information.
