Welcome:Carolina Review is actively recruiting new writers, editors, and layout staff members for the 2008-2009 school year. Many of the Carolina Review's leaders are seniors so leadership positions are up for grabs.
Joining Carolina Review is a simple but rewarding experience. New staff members will spend the first few weeks getting to know the editors and other writers. After seeing how things are run, staff members are encouraged to participate as actively as they want.
New writers and photographers will begin covering campus events, while layout assistants and copy editors will learn the ropes of working on the Carolina Review.
We are currently looking for:
• Writers
Staff writers meet weekly with editors to discuss story ideas and campus events. Writers choose topics in consultation with the editors.
• Photographers
Photographers work with writers to create pictures to run along side articles. Photographers also work with the editors to create a cover image and other pictures for the magazine and website.
• Designers
• Advertising Salesperson
