Current Research:
My research interest is Emancipation, and I am currently working on a
biography of Richard Harvey Cain (1820-1887) who was a emancipationist
minister in Charleston during Reconstruction. I am faculty advisor for the African Methodist Campus Fellowship and in the past have served as chair of the Advisory Board of the Sonja Haynes Stone Black Cultural
Center, and Vice Chair of the Advisory Board of the Campus YMCA.
