2005 Nobel Prize Nominee Wahu Kaara Speaks on the Kenyan Political Crisis
A parliamentary candidate in Kenya's recent tumultuous elections, and a leading advocate for social justice, Wahu Kaara has played an instrumental role in shaping and deepening the debate around economic policy and constitution-making at the local levels, with a specific focus on how these impact women. Her speech will cover the recent elections and the state of gender equality in Kenya.
