Graduate Admissions

The Department of Psychology at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill has consistently ranked in the top 20 "Best Grad Programs in the US" for many years. Click on the icons to the right to read the rankings of the past two years in US News and World Report.

The Behavioral Neuroscience Program receives around 60-80 applications per year and accepts 4-5 applicants. Consideration is based heavily on GRE scores, GPA in undergraduate work, research experience, references, and research interests. We invite a small number of applicants for our "Interview Day" each year; other interviews are welcomed individually but not required.
