North Carolina Mathematics Standard Course of Study
The current Standard Course of Study in Mathematics was approved by the State Board in May 1998 and implemented in August 1999. This NCDPI site has the complete document online.

Professional Organizations
National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM)
This site includes information on membership, meetings, policy statements, and publications of the National Council. You can buy memberships or publications online. It also includes an electronic version of the National Standards 2000 document.
Mathematical Association of America (MAA)
Organization for high school and college teachers (grades 9-16). Includes the popular columns by Ivars Peterson, Keith Devlin, and others.
