Setting a
Shortcut
- Begin by connecting to Mindspring.
- Next, open Fetch 3.0.
- Close the shortcut menu that comes up automatically.
- Select "New Shortcut" from the "Customize" menu.
- Enter the following - Name: Mindspring, Type: Unknown, Host:
ftp.mindspring.com, User ID: your username , Password:
your password , Directory: leave this blank .
- Select "Open Shortcut" from the file menu. Then, click and
hold on the small black arrow and scroll until you reach
Mindspring. Let go.
- In the future, when you open Fetch 3.0, shortcut options will
appear. All you need to do is select Mindspring.

Your Page
- Connect to Mindspring and click on the Fetch icon. Select
Mindspring from the shortcut options shown (small black arrow).
- When "www" and "ftp" appear, double click on "www."
- Click on "Put."
- Navigate to the file you wish to upload. Select "Raw Data" and
then click "OK."
- When you go view your Web page in the browser, be sure to
"Reload" before viewing the document in order to see revisions.
