| The following index lists contributors
by genre: poetry, prose fiction, drama, memoir, and miscellaneous prose.
In the case of interviews, the interviewer is listed as a contributor in
the index of miscellaneous prose; a list of interviewees appears at the
end of the index.
Each appearance by a writer is denoted by a volume number followed by an issue number. For instance, a poet’s appearance in volume 36 number 2, would appear as “36.2.” Volume numbers correspond to publication years, with volume 1 spanning 1948 to 1949, volume 2 representing 1949 to 1950, and so on. In the case of translated work, if the translated writer was deceased at the time of publication, the translator alone is listed as a contributor. If the translated writer was alive at the time, he or she as well as the translator are listed as contributors. |
