Southern Studies Faculty

Carolina's greatest living resource for southern studies is its faculty. Over sixty experts in fields ranging from history, literature, and folklore to public policy, law, education, public health, and social science offer graduate and undergraduate courses on every aspect of southern life. Southern Studies Curriculum

The Center now has the initial plans in place to coordinate a Curriculum in Southern Studies that will be housed in the College of Arts and Sciences at UNC. Through this new curriculum, UNC students will have the opportunity to make the study of the South the primary focus of their university education.
