"A Circle of Friends is something that many of us take for granted unless we do not have one. A Circle provides us with a network of support of family and friends. A Circle of Friends is available when one needs someone to listen, to give loving advice, and to provide support when it is needed." (Perske, 1989)

This three-day training event provides in-depth information necessary to facilitate a circle of friends for someone who experiences a developmental disability. This event utilizes various teaching approaches, including lecture and experiential exercises.

Target Audience:

Human Service professionals and paraprofessionals whose focus is primarily developmental disabilities
