This training event is designed for all who are involved with planning for persons with developmental disabilities. Crisis planning and management is an integral part of the person-centered plan. This training will present the background concepts needed for effective prevention and ideas about the content and the strategies necessary to construct an effective crisis plan. This presentation will also include information as to how the Crisis Plan can be conceptualized and recorded in the Planning documentation.

Target Audience:

This presentation is designed to meet the needs of those involved in designing person-centered plans. This event is specifically useful to case managers and support brokers, and other professionals, and paraprofessionals providing Medicaid services, whose focus is primarily developmental disabilities.
