American Diplomacy is a not-for-profit enterprise staffed by volunteers who receive no pay. Although we take pride in our ability to produce a quality journal on a bare-bones budget, keeping new material posted on a regular basis is costly. Our expenses include internet access charges, web site management fees, office supplies, computer equipment and software, and technical assistance when computers break down. In 2003 these and other recurring charges totaled almost $12,000. Contributions from our board of directors and a few modest foundation grants defray some of these costs. For the rest we depend on the generosity of our readers.
If you find American Diplomacy interesting and believe that it enhances your understanding of international issues, I hope you will help keep it on line by sending a contribution. However small, your gift will be put to good use and greatly appreciated. Bear in mind that contributions are entirely tax deductible.
Make your check payable to Treasurer, American Diplomacy and mail it to American Diplomacy Publishers, P.O. Box 3114, Chapel Hill, North Carolina
