Mike Aguilar is a Lecturer of Economics at UNC-Chapel Hill.  He earned his Masters from NYU,
and then worked as an analyst for the U.S. Congressional Budget Office, National Security Division.  Mike also worked for several years as an Economist and Macro-Strategist for a prominent Wall Street Firm.  He earned his PhD from the Department of Economics at UNC-Chapel Hill in 2008. 

 

Mike's teaching interests range from macroeconomics, to financial markets, to econometrics.  His research interests center
on the field of econometrics, with special
focus on financial econometrics.
