Oksana Leukhina

Oksana Leukhina received her Ph.D. in economics from the University of Minnesota in July 2005. Her main interests lie in the fields of macroeconomics, growth, demographics, public economics, and economic history. In her dissertation, Oksana studied the process of growth and development over long time scales and focused on the demographic transition and industrialization of England. In other recent working papers, Oksana investigated the dramatic rise in labor force participation of married women in the U.S. in the last 50 years.
