Sang Soo Park completed his Ph.D. in Econometrics at Vanderbilt University in 2008. His research interest is the identification and statistical inference of heterogeneous treatment effects. Departing from so-called the average treatment effect (ATE), he studies the distributional aspects of treatment effects generated by unobservable heterogeneity. His main focus is on the development of econometric theories, but he is also interested in applying his theoretical development to the evaluation of microeconomic policy impacts and the effects of social programs.
