Bridge Academy

In 2009, graduated seniors will participate in an Upward Bound Bridge Camp, a one week, non-residential, program specifically designed to better prepare them for their college experience.  Bridge Camp students will attend workshops, finalize their college paperwork, and do community service.  Students will also go on a trip and participate in a graduation ceremony.  Students will then go on and participate in Bridge programs at the school of their choice.

The academic progress of graduates attending colleges and universities is continuously monitored by the Upward Bound staff. Follow-up on all graduates is an integral part of the program. Many graduates return to Upward Bound to serve as volunteers and as summer employees.
