ApplicationDear Applicant:The Upward Bound Program at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is a federally funded educational program which prepares high school students for post secondary education. If you are interested in preparing for college, complete the application. The following instructions must be followed to complete the application process:
Ultimately, Upward Bound is designed to generate in program participants skills and motivation necessary to complete a program of study that leads to a college degree. Recruitment season begins for Upward Bound during the spring semester for 8th graders and during the academic year for 9th and 10th grade students. Student must be 9th or 10th grade at the time of admission to the program. Required minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) is 2.0.
