The Center for European Studies has developed a collection of briefing papers for media organizations and small business companies to help keep them abreast of current political, social, and economic issues in the EU.
Additional public initiatives:
Global Television, a partnership between UNC's area studies centers and WUNC-TV, the local PBS affiliate to offer monthly documentaries on the regions of the world. Each documentary will have accompanying pedagogical materials for use in the classroom. Future schedule to be posted.
Global Music is
a monthly radio program focusing on a different world region and bringing in a guest scholar from the university. The project is a collaboration between UNC Area Studies centers and WXYC 89.3 FM, broadcast on the last Friday of every month from 5pm-6pm EST. Available via live internet stream at www.wxyc.org
