This Distinguished Scholar Seminar features Gerhard L. Weinberg, William
Rand Kenan, Jr., Professor of History, Emeritus. The Nuremberg trials stand as a watershed in the development of international justice. This seminar will
focus our attention
on trials in Europe, but those in East Asia will also receive some
attention. A final session will engage the pause in international
efforts in the same direction during the Cold War, their resumption in
more recent years, and the extent to which prior precedents have been
followed or reversed.
With support from the Center for European Studies.
Pre-registration is required. Find more information here. |
