Thursday-Saturday, April 15-17, 1999: The Fontane Ensemble Berlin (Goethe, Brecht) will perform musical selections.  Duke University.

Wednesday, September 1: Konrad Jarausch (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill) will speak on "The Totalitarian Temptation: Ordinary Germans, Dictatorship, and Democracy."  Location: UNC-Chapel Hill, Dey Hall, 4th floor, Toy Lounge.  3:30pm.

Thursday, October 14: Play: "Waiting Room Germany" by Klaus Pohl. Produced by the UNC Department of Education to illustrate the impact of the Berlin wall to high school Social Studies teachers.  Time & Location TBA.

Tuesday, November 16: Hans Mommsen (Ruhr-Universität, Bochum; Visiting Senior Scholar, U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum) will be speaking on "The German Resistance and the Holocaust," at 4:00pm in Hamilton 569.
