I. Keynote speakers for the symposium are:
  • Louis J. Pauly, Director of the Center for International Studies and professor of political science at the University of Toronto in Canada. His published works include “Who Elected the Bankers? Surveillance and Control in the World Economy,” Ithaca, NY: Cornell University Press: 1997. 
  • Erik Jones, professor of political science at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. Professor Jones is the author and editor of several volumes dealing with advanced industrial society and the European Monetary Union.

The seminar is designed to help faculty at teaching institutions from all over the southeastern United States incorporate the EU into new or existing curricula. Materials packets are available.
