Program

Below is the final program for the TGSW.

The program has a panel structure: concise research presentations by three students, followed by detailed comments on research design by two designated faculty, and next by open discussion. The purpose is to create an atmosphere which is hospitable to open, intellectual exchange among equals. Graduate students and faculty will be strongly encouraged to provide constructive feedback. This is not a competitive boxing match, but a unique opportunity to pool our intellectual resources so as to improve research in progress. There will also be plenty of time and space for graduate students to interact with faculty and their peers during the panels and to socialize before and after.
