Productivity

Productivity is the amount produced for each hour of work.

The more productive a country is the more it is able to do with its resources. Technology often leads to higher levels of productivity. High levels of productivity are also associated with higher standards of living.

A comparison of productivity rates is provided by Amy Medearis of the Delegation of the European Commission.
