The Best Practices in Foreign Language Pedagogies site was developed to provide educators with effective, innovative, and stimulating tools for teaching foreign languages to students at all levels, from elementary school through university and beyond.

We currently have foreign language curriculum guides in French, German, and Spanish. Dutch, Greek, and Italian guides are forthcoming and will be announced via our e-newsletter. To be added to our mailing list, email: ces@unc.edu. The site is further broken down into beginning, intermediate, and advanced lesson plans tailored to appeal to the age levels cited above.

This semester we are featuring Brent Pitts' (Meredith College, Raleigh, NC) French language pedagogical submission for instructors teaching the language at an intermediate-advanced level in a postsecondary institution.
