North Carolina German Studies Seminar and Workshop Series

The North Carolina German Studies Seminar and Workshop Series seeks to foster intellectual exchange among students, scholars and the wider community at both public and private institutions of higher learning. The Series intends on opening academic dialogues to the general public of North Carolina in order to raise awareness of the importance of Germany for the cultural literacy of all North Carolinians.

Interdisciplinary and inter-instituional seminars will commence in the fall of 2007 and will take place a total of five times through the entire academic year. Seminars and the spring 2008 workshop will provide scholars and advanced students in North Carolina a chance to share their ongoing research with one another in an informal and relaxed setting.
