Research & Funding

The Center houses many faculty and graduate student research working groups. All of our working groups produce an edited volume or special journal edition at the conclusion of their funded project. To date we have eleven publications and two original data sets produced by our working groups. The links below also contain websites for conferences including papers in progress.

Our Visiting Scholars are a rich resource for the Center. The Center for European Studies hosts a Visiting DAAD Fellow as well as short term DAAD visiting faculty. In alternate years the EU Center of Excellence hosts an EU Fellow from the European Commission. We welcome short-term visiting scholars from European Universities to the Center. While the Center has no facilities to house occasional visiting scholars until 2007 we will provide assistance in getting access to UNC library and other resources.
