Parking Directions

Before coming for a visit, please contact us so arrangements can be made for your parking. When parking for your first visit, there will be a trainer waiting for you to give you a parking pass. All times after that, you will be parking in reserved spots that will be assigned to you by the program directors.

From Interstate 40 (from Raleigh and points east):

Take Exit 273-B (Hwy 54) towards Chapel Hill
Continue straight for 4 miles to the top of the hill

From Interstate 85 (coming from Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Greensboro):

Take I-40 East towards Raleigh
Take Exit 273 and turn right at the end of the exit ramp
Continue straight for 4 miles to the top of the hill

From Interstate 85 North (from Durham and points north):

Follow I-85 to intersection with Hwy 15-501 South
Follow 15-501 South towards Chapel Hill; the highway will divide
Remain on 15-501 South (Bypass) bearing left, away from Franklin Street
Turn right at Highway 54 Exit towards "UNC-Chapel Hill"
Continue to the top of the hill

ATTENTION PARTICIPANTS

Starting in June and until construction is complete, parking is available at Carmichael Auditorium:

54 will turn in to South Road. Just past the soccer fields and Eddie Smith Field House (on your left) turn left into the Carmichael Auditorium parking lot.
Park along the side or behind the building in spots reserved for visitors

After construction is complete (Date TBA), parking will be available at the EXSS visitor parking spaces:

54 will turn in to South Road.
Turn left onto Stadium Drive (just past Fetzer Gymnasium and the Student Recreation Center on your left)
Turn left and go down hill into a small parking lot
Park in spots reserved for EXSS Visitors
