The policy concerning waivers for the
one-semester physical
education requirement is as follows:
-
Students with at least two years of active military duty receive a full
waiver.

Older students (older than 50 years of age) receive a full waiver.

Students for medical reasons can be excused from the
requirement
upon the recommendation from UNC Student Health Service.
