Clinical Program for the Early Detection, Prevention, and Treatment of Chemotherapy Induced Cardiomyopathy in Breast Cancer Patients:

The Clinical Innovation Awards program supports novel programs that demonstrate significant potential for innovation in patient care and services and elevate current care models or break new ground at UNC at Chapel Hill.  Programs span the clinical spectrum from early detection to palliative care, and from childhood to adult.

These eight Clinical Innovation projects and programs are the first to receive funding from the UCRF’s competitive awards programs.  Awards for the companion Innovation Awards are expected to be announced in the very near future.

The UCRF expects to announce a new round of Clinical Innovation Awards with a June, 2008 due date.
