The First Year Seminar program at UNC-Chapel Hill builds and sustains an impressive array of seminar-format courses that allow students to work closely with instructors on intriguing topics.

The First Year Seminar web site provides relevant information. Students can find out what seminars are being offered, and how to register for them. Faculty can learn how to propose a new course, apply for course enhancement funding, and find relevant resources. Administrators can review FYS Policies and Procedures.
