Michael Emch to join faculty

Dr. Michael Emch is joining the Department of Geography as an Associate Professor. Dr. Emch's research and teaching focus on spatial epidemiology, medical geography, GISci and land use/land cover change with a regional emphasis in Bangladesh, Vietnam, Mozambique, and Belize.

During the 2005-2006 academic year, Dr. Emch will be completing the 2nd year of a Robert Woods Johnson Foundation Fellowship in the Mailman School of Public Health at Columbia University.
