NASA NIP to Conghe Song

Conghe Song is receiving a NASA New Investigator Program (NIP) Award in Earth-Sun System Science. His proposal is entitled "Impacts of Land-Cover/Land-Use Change on Terrestrial Ecosystem Carbon Budget." This was a very competitive program this year given the well publicized funding cuts that NASA Science is working with. The grant will run for three years and is one of 25 awarded nation-wide.
