Catherine Shields and Maggie Carrel receive NSF Graduate Research Fellowship 

The NSF has announced its 910 awardees for the NSF Graduate Research Fellowship.

A total of 6 Geographers nationally won awards: One each from Clark and the U of Colorado, and 2 each from U of California Berkeley and UNC!

Congratulations to Catherine Shields and Maggie Carrel who got this super news today.

UNC-CH overall won 6 awards and we got 2 of them!
