North Carolina, Chapel Hill 27599-3220. The Department of Geography
at the University of North Carolina ¨C Chapel Hill invites applications from
outstanding scholars for a tenure-track faculty position at the assistant
professor level in any aspect of Climate and/or Environmental Change at the
Regional to Global Scale. Opportunities for collaboration exist
across the university including the Institute for the Environment, the
Southeastern Regional Climate Center (SRCC), and the Renaissance Environmental
Computing Institute (RENCI). A PhD is required at the time of appointment, with
an anticipated start date of July 1, 2009.
