1994 Aerial Photography Mosaic

Despite massive road building documented by the Thai government, few post-1984 roads were discernible using the Landsat TM imagery (shown in gold).  The use of aerial photography allows for increased spatial resolution but introduces geometric and radiometric problems inherent in a multi-date mosaic.  (Survey villages shown in blue, pre-1984 roads shown in red.)
