THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT!

The Humanities Program Needs Your Support

The Humanities Program is a receipt-driven component of the College of Arts and Sciences that depends in large measure upon annual contributions from participants and friends who generously support our work. We are very grateful for this support. Here is how we use it:

First, we aim to keep our fees as low as possible and to make our seminars available to as many participants as possible. Second, more particularly, we want to continue to make our seminars accessible to teachers through our teacher scholarship program. Third, we would like to modestly increase the honoraria that we pay our speakers, for whom our seminars are a form of public service. Finally, we cherish an important and substantial goal of endowing Adventures in Ideas seminars to ensure their permanence as the principal means of public outreach of the College of Arts and Sciences at UNC Chapel Hill.

If you would like to discuss any aspect of our fund-raising goals, please contact me at (919) 843-9387 or by e-mail at eve@unc.edu.

Thank you!

Eve
