Would you like to know more about international students, new cultures and countries, befriend an international student? The programs described in this section were designed to provide opportunities for you to meet and welcome international students and help them in their adjustment to a new culture and new surroundings.

Programs popular with students are the Orientation Counselor and Conversation Partners Programs. The Class of 38 Summer Fellowship Abroad Program for U.S. sophomores and juniors offers funding for sophomore and junior U.S. Students to pursue an independent project in another country.

Programs popular with community volunteers are the International Friendship Program and the Conversation Partners Program.

Volunteers interested in occasionally working with international students can indicate their interest on volunteer applications.
