speakers' bureau The Speakers' Bureau acts as a liaison between the international and the local communities by providing international speakers for schools, civic and religious organizations. The international students and scholars at UNC-Chapel Hill serve as a valuable educational resource in promoting international understanding. Students and scholars are invited to speak about their home countries and cultural backgrounds, to show slides, or to demonstrate native dress, music, foods and crafts. Applications The University Center for International Studies runs a public school Outreach Program which uses international speakers in the classroom.
