Buy a 3.5" disk before lab. You will need at least one disk to store your work for this course. The best kind to buy is an IBM-formatted 2HD disk.

See About Computer Disks.Read DTE section 3A, "Windows 90/2000: File Management" before your first lab.

 If you don't have an Onyen, create one at any UNC computer lab, the ATN (Academic Technology and Networks) Help Desk at 300 Wilson Library, or go to the ATN's Get your Onyen Services.

Buy your copy of DTE from Copytron and bring to class starting Monday, Jan. 14.
